Casablanca, Morocco

Casablanca, located on the Atlantic coast, is Morocco’s largest city, and at the same time the largest port in Africa.

Population: 4 million.

Language: Arabic and French.

Currency: Moroccan dirham (MAD)

We were here May 24, 2023.

We didn’t like this city and the people in this city… The city has many old houses, unfinished houses and ruins. People try to deceive every tourist. On the ship, we exchanged impressions with other tourists and everyone had an unpleasant impression of this city. Many of us wanted to buy argan oil in Morocco, but we all returned without argan oil. It is unpleasant when you are brazenly deceived in price.

And also we were warned several times by security on the ship to leave valuables, no jewelry, no watches and hide a mobile phone. They were also informed that even the police in this city can be fake, that is, not real. After such warnings, we were afraid to walk a lot or buy something in this city.

Oh, it’s a pity that we didn’t buy argan oil! 😏 It is said to be a miraculous oil for skin rejuvenation.
