It is now a popular place for elderly people to retire.

Climate

 Panama City has tropical savanna climate, a little drier than a tropical monsoon climate. The wet season spans from May through December, and the dry season spans from January through April. Temperatures remain constant throughout the year, averaging around 27 °C (81 °F).

Personally, I found Panama to be a two-faced city. The city center is modern and rich, the surroundings of the city are neglected, dirty, poor.
