JANAF signs new storage deals with BP and Lukoil

Croatia’s state oil storage and transport company Jadranski naftovod (JANAF) has extended a storage deal with BP and signed a new deal with Russian firm Lukoil’s Croatian subsidiary.

BP has extended its crude oil storage agreement from 1 April 2022 to 31 March 2023.

Lukoil Croatia has signed a new agreement for the storage of petroleum products for the period 1 January 2022 to 31 December 2023.

‘Jadranski naftovod, as a company of strategic importance for the Republic of Croatia, has once again confirmed the reputation and trust it enjoys with its international partners. The renewal of the contract with BP, the world’s integrated oil company, and the renewal of cooperation with Lukoil after several years, are an indicator of the implementation of the highest standards in the provision of storage services. It is also another confirmation of a well-thought-out business strategy, thanks to which the company is recording exceptional results and business growth, and a confirmation of strong positioning in the oil market in the wider Mediterranean region,’ says the JANAF management board in a statement.
