Three Evos terminals now run on Vattenfall wind energy

Swedish energy company Vattenfall is to supply three terminals with 100% wind energy after Dutch firm Evos signed new energy supply contracts for 2022.

Evos is seeking to significantly reduce carbon emissions associated with its operations and with the new contracts, now has four terminals running on EU wind energy. Two further terminals have guarantees of origin for renewable energy, a total of almost 60,000 MWh, while its terminal in Malta has solar panels to generate electricity for all buildings and lighting.

‘Security of supply and stable performance of power are key to operating the pumps and infrastructure for excellent 24/7 customer service at Evos. The deal with energy provider Vattenfall makes a good partnership for reliable operations and CO2 emission reduction,’ says Evos in a statement.
