Magellan wins US$100 million US military contract

Magellan Terminals Holdings, part of US company Magellan Midstream, has won a US$100,516,222 (€89 million) contract to provide fuel storage from the US Defence Logistics Agency.

The contract will last for four years, with one five-year option period. Under the terms of the contract, which begin in 2022, Magellan will provide services and related contractor‐owned, contractor‐operated fuel storage facilities with capabilities to receive, store, protect and ship aviation turbine fuel and naval distillate. The company will provide these services at terminals in Tulsa, Oklahoma, and Texas.

Magellan was awarded the contract by the Defence Logistics Agency Energy, Fort Belvoir, Virginia, following a competitive process.
