Penneshaw is a township in South Australia located on the northeast coast of the Dudley Peninsula on Kangaroo Island about 107 km (66 mi) south of the state capital, Adelaide. It is the island´s main ferry port with regular services from Cape Jervis.

Penneshaw features a Maritime- and Folk Museum, and evening tours to a colony of Little Penguins, the only species of penguin to breed in Australian waters.

Penneshaw´s beach is known as Hog Bay. The beach offers visitors a delightful sande scene and is perfect for swimming, relaxing, and picnicking on.

Our pianist on the ship, Mr. Bruno Aguilar, loves the underwater world, regularly trains holding his breath, exellent at snorkeling and photo camera PRO.

From wildlife experiences to outdoor bush adventures and trail walks, there are plenty of things to do on Kangaroo Island. In recent times, Kangaroo Island has become a wining and dining paradise for foodies with fine local wines, beer, cider, and spirits to wash down delicious organic island produce. Kangaroo Island is a gourmet´s delight.
